A little bit about me...
I have been teaching at Lincoln-Sudbury since the fall of 2001. Before I came to L-S, I attended Boston College where I received a BA in History and a M.Ed in Secondary Education. In between those degrees, I earned another MA in History at the College of William & Mary. Ever a glutton for punishment, I went back to school again during the pandemic and earned another M.Ed, this time in Special Education. I currently teach two junior/senior electives - one on American popular culture and the other a study of sports in America. Other fun things to know about me: I have 3 kids and 3 Golden Retrievers (a 13-year old, Molly, and two-3 year olds, Gracie and Miso.) Besides spending time with my family, I love to cook, exercise (years of rowing competitively makes it virtually impossible to NOT do anything active), read fiction, and watch a lot of tv & movies. I'm also hooked on podcasts; my current favorites are the NYT' The Daily (news), You're Wrong About (cultural myth debunking), The GIST of It (sports podcast), Hidden Brain (social science podcast), Pop Culture Happy Hour, Table Manners, Slow Burn and Articles of Interest (fashion history.) |
